5 MW STANTON SOLAR FARM

JBM started development of the Stanton Solar Project in early 2014 and planning permission was granted by Swindon Borough Council in August 2014. The project was built by Spanish EPC Bester Generación and commissioned in March 2015. The plant produces enough electricity to power over 1,100 households.

Prior to submitting a planning application, JBM engaged closely with the local community and held a public consultation day where members of the pubic were invited to discuss their views on the proposed plans for the development. These views were then incorporated into the revised proposals.
